Jaycee,
I pray that you and yours are fine after seeing Temuco, Chile was hit with a 7.1 magnitude earthquake today!

Thank you for your concern, but I must confess I came to know about it when I saw it reported on the BBC World News late last night.
Temuco is about 420mi south of Santiago and the epicenter was about 60mi out to sea so...
You should also bear in mind that we are somewhat accustomed to tremors. Reactions tend to be a bit more extreme after a recent "big one".
Best,
JC

I understand Jaycee!
When I lived in Western AK, I'd get calls from friends and relatives when "tremors" occurred in other parts of AK, that made the national news. Never experienced one until I moved to Anchorage.
Glad to hear it wasn't too destructive.
