I wonder if any guns were engraved in the "art nouveau" style when it was in vogue?

Good morning Sébastien, I love beautiful wood and that's about as beautiful as wood can be. That said, I'm not sure what's most impressive, the engraving or the wood. The French are known for building light weight guns, what does it weigh? (metric please, I can do the conversion). Steve

I still remember good old times, when wallnut burls "bird eye" never been used for stocks BTW, about 6-7 years ago I bought such burl blanks for 50 bucks per each, 'cause blanks were rejected and I made very nice duck and goose calls from them

For all us Americans 2.4 kg = 5.291 lbs. A nice light weight gun. Steve PS it's too bad that the US never went metric, yes it would have been a PITA at first, but metric measurements with a base of 10 make so much more sense and are so much easier to use once a person gets used to the system.
