OK, I have asked about shot size now what chokes? That may determine which gun I use. I have a Hussey with 10 and 25 thous. choke and that was what I had planned on shooting. If Ihave to go heavy I will opt for my Perazzi that I can either use MOD and IMOD or Imod and FULL.
I really wanted to use the Hussey but the chokes may not suffice, your opinions please.
I am leaning toward ordering some RST with two boxes of #7 and the rest 7 1/2.
So what is the best option?

The Hussey would be perfect for an honest, enjoyable shoot.

The birds are easy to kill (breast on as a rule), and the birds are usually piled up, then cleaned and packaged by a service. Shot up birds are disposed of.
No need to blast them to pieces, though you will see people shooting wounded birds all the way to the ground, rewarding nearby poachers with a shot filled bird.
2 shots really curtails the savagery. It is very hard to sell out a shoot with a two loaded shell restriction though. The shoots around here that do high volumes market in exactly the opposite way. The 540 bird days are very popular.

Out there doing it best I can.

I have subscriptions to English shooting magazines including the Field and Shooting Gazzette. Traditionally quarter & half (about IC-Mod) has been most popular, but they report there is a trend towards using even more open chokes with today's modern ammo at driven shoots.

I've shot English doubles with open chokes and found they work great with good cartridges.

The Hussey should be perfect.

I've shot a dozen or more tower shoots over the past decade and have found that tighter chokes are better. I've always used #6 shot with Full and LMod and have had great success.
