Funny, as soon as the pressure got put on the PO, they miraculously found it. I smell a thief, but at least I got it back. I did contact the postal inspector and he was all over it because it was a firearm. I suspect he had something to do with it. Now I don't know where they found it but I was told it was being sent to me over night mail.

Great to hear. After all the horror stories about shipping I'm glad this one worked out. Curious to see if it's still in the original packaging....

That is fantastic! I note it is being returned to you rather than going on to the stocker. What's plan B to get it to him? And was there any way a postal employee/thief could have known what the package contained that might have made it a more of a target for theft? I'm hoping we can learn something that might prevent this from happening to any of us. I've had a few shotguns shipped to me that were not broken down. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that a 4"x8"x46" package just might contain a gun. But you didn't even ship the barrels.

CONGRATULATIONS, An arm of our Federal Government finally got something right! As was said the packaging should tell you a lot.
Best Regards, George
