Hello everyone. Haven't been on for several months. In my father's collection, I ran across a Daisy Model 21 double barrel BB gun. I was just wanting to know if anyone has ever seen one of these before. It is a little strange to me.

Fairly scarce item. They are worth a decent ammount of cash if in good condition. Has appeal to BB-gun collectors as well as some double gun guys. There are usually some for sale on the internet - so do a little research and evaluate where yours falls in the price category. Good luck.

Made from 1968-1972. If yours happens to say "Sears" on it they are worth in upwards of $1500+

Thanks Ironman. When my father passed I inherited all but one of his guns. Of his guns, there was a Heavy Duck Gun, a JP Sauer, but I just started looking through his bb and pellet guns. I had never seen a double barrel BB gun before.... it is pretty cool. Thanks again.

Last year a friend passed away but before he went he asked me to help his widow sell his guns. There were a bunch of air rifles sitting around in the basement so I listed them on GB for $10 each. Imagine our surprise when a Daisy BB gun got bid up to well over $500! Turns out it was a rare variation and in good condition. Something about the tang screw being flat headed instead or round headed.

My problem lies in reconciling my gross habits with my net income.

Kinda crazy - you could own a very nice SxS that shoots lots of BB's for the same money.

The down side to a real shotgun is that rather than putting an eye, or two, out, you'd put an entire head off.

Tyler, Yes there was. Not a model 21 - but another SxS version called the Model 104. About 40,000 made from 1938-1940. Worth even more than the model 21. Dummy sidelocks, walnut stock,Roll stamped with gamebirds, dogs and scrolls. (Just like Pappy's Parker!)

Thanks everyone. I also still have my dad's JP Sauer and his Heavy Duck gun. It just amazes me that he would keep his air rifles and this SXS in with his 30-06 and .243. He was a character.
