Not sure if a 2400 is classic, sure it ain't custom, but a friend just got one of these (12x.308) and needs a scope mount. Does anybody have a clue about a source?
I've looked at all the usual suspects that I know of. NAC/Gun Parts lists only the rear mount (it is OS anyway) but they mention that it is "Bushnell mfr.". I've looked in current Bushnell catalogs and not found it.
The Valmet 412 combo and double rifle seems to use a one-piece mount that looks different; the only one I could access is unmarked and the owner doesn't know anything about it; came with the used rifle.
I'd like to help this guy out; he's a fellow geezer and now, like me, has to use a scope--the (not very good IMO)2400 open sights are no use to him.
Anybody have an clues as to a source, or a scoped 2400 that they could check for mount markings?
