OP kilibru Sidelock Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 138 Indiana	I have a field grade LC Smith stock (English walnut restock) that I would like to have some cast added. So before I ask a gunsmith for his time; can this be done to an LC smith stock without shattering it? Does the action need to be removed for this operation?

Riprap Sidelock Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 471 South Georgia	Kilibru, I have never had cast altered on a stock, but Mike Orlin has succesfully bent many stocks up and down for me including two L C Smith's. I recommend contacting him. He is a member of this board and you should be able to find him with a scearch. Riprap

It came out beautifully and I used it to shoot a number of pheasants this past season. Besides fair prices, Mike has great turn around in perfoming the job and returning the gun to you. Chris
