I just did a quick search on auctionarms and gunbroker. There are no 32" to be found. Anyone have any numbers on the on ones produced with 32"barrels?
Thanks, redoftx

Not many around for sure. Barrels if good are worth well more then what you paid for sure.

Congrats on the buy. I have a 32" sterly and they are great guns. Most seem to be choked F/F or tighter. Mine is F/XF. How is yours choked? Just forward of the barrel flats is there a number (1-4) visible? This would be the number indicating barrel weight, 1 being the heaviest. Does the gun have a cap on the pistol grip?
We'd all like to see some pics when you can. I'd also encourage you to join the Fox collectors association.
My sympathies to you & your family concerning your mother in law.

My sympathies to you & your family concerning your mother in law. Good post Mike; I echo that sentiment, and hope we don't lose sight of what's really important in this fragile life.

Thanks for the concern and to all who replied. Mike, I left all my gauges/measuring devices at home. I really just went out on a whim to get out of the house. I'll let you all know in about 4-5 days. The funeral home is here to take the body.

I have a 16 gauge sterlingworth with 32" tubes that I bought several years ago in pristine condition. I have not yet found a use for it but know it is worth far more than I paid for it. Maybe I will get another invite to a tower pheasent shoot, till then it sits in the safe.
