Another fun year at the Sagola Township Conservation Club. Thanks to all who run the shoot. Great job.

Hopefully some other folks will add pics.

Bill, the Grand Prize Winner, firing the first round through his new Arrieta .410. I do not believe anyone enjoyed the weekend any more than Bill.

Dave, definitely Mr. Hospitality!

Barb, Aimee, and Ed.

Pigeon Ring

Ed (at 83 years young) shooting the pigeon ring.

Dave and Phil shooting the RST Two Person Flurry

Tim, Bill, Dave, Norm, Ed, and John. We all had a great time!

My first time up there, did not shoot the "Event", however, we still had a great time. Lots of nice doubles to see and many friendly folks. Got to finally put some faces together with names and even caught a few Brookies for brecky on Saturday morning at deer camp.

I happened to watch you guys shoot that first pigeon ring. Looked like you're all having a good time and I don't remember seeing anyone miss. That 2nd ring was fun wasn't it? eek

I had a good time up there. Two of my squad mates won guns.

It sure looks like a nice get together and shooter no 104 did some fine shooting, no matter who he is. No braggin rights there. I guess they figure participation will drop off if the names and poor shooting scores are shown in results. What a crock. Maybe we should run elections like this. HEADLINE candidate no 6 won the president race and no 11 will be your new vice president. Canm we have a round of applause. CB

cherry bomb, FYI the following was copied directly from the Sagola Township Sportsmans Club website:

The Philosophy

"Many enjoy highly competitive clay shooting, and there is nothing wrong with such events; however this event emphasizes the beauty and utility of the side-by-side and the camaraderie of the participants based on their mutual appreciation of the form.

Although there will be shooting competition and there will be prizes, this event is not all about winning or losing. The Grand Prize will be awarded as a raffle prize, with a raffle ticket given to each entrant. Lewis class prizes will be awarded based on combined scores for all events."

Yah I know that. Attempt at explanation for the only competitive shooting event I've ever heard of that hides the names of shooters. ATA, NSSA, NSCA, IDP ect must have it all wrong. Hey good going no 104 whoever you are. CB
