I think the forend was shortened so that the barrels could be further cropped and more concealable. That's for when it's shoved into Lowell's waxed cotton coat as he polices the barbed wire perimeter of Ferd's Game Internment Lot!~)

I like the way I make it look like some choke was peened into the muzzle.
You're right. It's sick. I should have lopped off the stock and balanced the thing...but I knew that Lowell has a soft spot for wood. In his heart, I mean!
It's truly a beauteous shotgun and I'm only making light because it's so danged easy. I like (to bug;) Lowell.

I don't think he'll post a lenght for the forearm....because when he does I think it's going to be easy to see jist how long those barrels were extended in the photo.
