I'm trying to find come information on a shotgun marked RoyalKrupp-Speziel, JP Sauer & Sohm, 12 gauge, 12/70 side by side with rib, single selective trigger and auto ejectors. serial number 884xxx.

This gun was inherited by a friend and I'm helping him findout more about it including its value.

Hard to tell without pics but I'll make a stab. Usually there's a date code on the underside of the left tube. Tube steel of the Izhevsk type(50A?), , possibly from the Izhevsk Mechanical Works. I'd say a base value of $750 U.S. of A. and then add for the single selective and ejectors.

You'll have to post pics of the exterior, engraving closeups, and the proofmarks on the receiver flats and underside of the barrels. Then someone might be able to help.
