Thanks pb, Dennis is a great guy and that Fox 16 is a sweetheart in anyone's book. Long barrels, slightly weight forward balance with semi-pistol grip and smallish beavertail. It was built for dove shooting in the Carolinas and the only screw-up was the flushing grouse on the forend plate??!! The engraver's misguided idea!
The .54 cal percussion rifle was build for a long ago friend who died two years after a heart transplant, we hunted deer the week after he was released from the hospital. I shot a very nice Oregon blacktail buck whose antlers are in view on my office wall. That rifle was also on the April 1989 cover of Guns Magazine.
Best,
Steve
