I would sell mine cheaper. It is missing the extractor, but otherwise in nice condition. $110, ten to Dave if I sell it.

My favorite Sedgley is a well used Springfield that I found at the York, PA show last year. It is a classic Pennsylvania used Sedgley, Winchester steel buttplate, schnabel forend, barrel band mounted front swivel about where it would be on an NRA Sporter, 7/8" non detachable swivels, lots of blue wear, Unertl Hawk in Redfield Junior mounts. The fellow was very nice and came off his $325.00 price without me asking. I keep forgetting to take it to the range, but I can only imagine that it shoots too.

I go to York and pretty near all the eastern PA shows but have yet to stumble on such an absolute steal, hope the seller was over the age of consent.

I have seen nice Sedgleys in Southeastern PA but had to buy this one. The one Sedgley I really screwed up on was a minty Mannlicher stocked, iron sighted 1917. About the nicest little Enfield sporter I've ever seen. I wonder who has it now? Sedgleys are like Jaegers and Foxes. Many of them are still fairly close to home.

At one time Sedgleys were very common and several were for sale in every issue of Shotgun News. I like Sedgleys and have owned several over the years. The only one I managed to hang onto is my Deluxe 30-06. Compared to a lot of other rifles for sale the Sedgley always seemed like a good value.

Hey, that gunbroker gun is "my gun" before my gun went hunting and had the Unertl installed. I like my gun better except I wish my gun had the banded front sight. I will find a sling for my gun in the sling box before I take it out.

How does that trap buttplate work?
They all look like nice rifles to me?!
(BTW: Leaving tomorrow for mule deer hunting with Jerry Fisher & friends near Roundup, MT! Be back in about a week.)
