Hi All,

My knowledge base is mostly limited to English and German guns... I don't know much about Berettas. I have a friend interested in purchasing these two guns:

Don't know why there have been no other opinions posted, so I'll throw mine out there, based upon a quick look at the listings. The 625 is priced fairly, although a bit on the high side. The pricing on the 627EL is rather optimistic, but those guns are scarce and if you really want one, you may have to pay the price. The short barrels on both of these guns probably decrease the value, unless you like short barrels. They appear to be nice guns in good condition. I have Beretta SxS in 20ga/426E, 12ga/425, and 12ga/GR3. All are good guns.

Hi all, well I'll wade in also. I have one Beretta, it's also a 627EL Sport, however mine has DT, SG, Semi-BTFE and is choked IC/IM in its 26" bbls. It is a very good quality gun that for a 12ga is very light, 6lbs 6oz. The wood on it is ok, but the fitting is excellent. Overall its been a great gun to carry and hunt with.

The price for the 627 you posted is high IMO. I paid 2.2k for mine, which I think was a good deal (the gun is near mint).

I think Replacement's comments are right on regarding these guns.
