Someone I know has one of these entry-level Spanish (I think) 12 ga. doubles. Looks like a Zabala Hermanos product to me, but does anyone know for sure? (Doesn't have an Zabala marking on it.). We can't also seem to find a date-of-proof code on it; looked on barrel flats and water table. What are other likely places to look? And while I'm buggin' you, does the 12-76 marking on the water table refer to guage and chamber length, as I think, or is it the mfr. date?

I meant "Universal". Some day I'll learn to type. Or proofread. Some day.....

Anybody know the manufacturer?

Mike, the first URL above takes you to the makers codes that are stamped on the barrel flats.
Jim
I learn something every day, and a lot of times it's that what I learned the day before was wrong

Thanks, Jim. I'll have the owner take a look (I haven't actually seen this gun. And don't especially want to....the whiteline spacers space me out...can't risk another case of "whiteline fever"!).
