I thought I would give you local guys a heads up. The Shriner show at the route 40 and 13 split was productive for me. There is a dealer there with stuff from an estate sale. Mec 9000's various gauges for $150 each. I wish I owned a 16. He had alot of factory primed hulls in boxes of 100 for $3/100. They were Remington Shure Shot and Alcan, he probably had a 1000. Wads in 410,16, and 20 ga. @ $3/bag. Loaded shells in 12,16,and 20ga, 3 boxes for$10. He also had some other stuff and some matallic reloads cheap.

tanky, I'm glad it's productive for someone. For me, it has always been a good place to get rid of admission and colddog money. I'm afraid this show and the Newark (DE) Firehouse show feature the usual suspects and their "keeper" culls. I assume you're from South Jersey; you shoot Quinton, Salem County Sportsman, M&M? On your rec I'll go over tomorrow and take a look at what's left.

rabbit I shoot at Quinton. The shriner show would not be my first stop but with the rain this weekend I gave it a go and it panned out for me. If you shoot 16 ga you should do well. You will laugh at the LC feather weight prices there. Since I reload everything I have found some deals in the past there also, people selling out and such. Tommorrow I'll check out Allentown.

I've had a LC16FW for several yrs. tanky. Got it off the rack at Miller's Gun Center in New Castle. I can't guess at what a laughable price would be--high, low? Low would be good! I gave a bit less than 700 for mine. Tight, real good wood and good barrels, some case color. So I'll look at the hulls and components. I've got a 16 Sizemaster and I like the shuttle rhythm on that machine. Problem with volume progressive machine is I get it set up for one target load and then never want to mess with it despite the adjustable bar. But that is a great price on a 9000. Thanks for the headsup. Can't get to Allentown for various reasons having to do with laziness, arthritis but maybe skeet tomorrow morning if the cold drizzle lets up and then the Shrine show.

9000 in 12 ga sold while I was there; 175$. "Cheap price" for "someone else's reloads" (actually Carmen, ultra-famous machinist and gunsmith of Stanton, DE's reloads) was 3.33 a box mostly 20 ga. skeet loads. The late lamented did use nice clean once-fired hulls. I wouldn't plug them into a pump or autoloader but guess from the external appearance one might have a chance of coming thru intact and healthy. Bought some 9mm Makarov stuff for my CZ. Talked to Mike del G. and some others; sparred with the jerks a bit; bit of fun with Wally and his guncleaner. Gave me the pitch; I laughed. He says "You're laughing." Says I, "No, I'm actually crying; your speel always leaves me in tears." Says he, "Now I know you're full of BS." Usual tables full of overpriced pig iron.

rabbit, he must have raised the price from Saturday on those 9000's. They were $150. Did you get any of those primed 16ga hulls? At $3/hundred and at todays prices the primer is worth that. I should have bought them all and sold them on the 16ga site or kept them until I buy a 16. I'm sure I'll own one some day. The 20ga reloads were a good deal but I did buy 3 boxes factory 12ga Rem Express he had. You are right about Wally. I overheard him tell a boy at a recent show that his lube was so slick that some semi-autos would go full auto with it. That gave me a laugh. His gun wipes are really good though I pick them up ocassionally.

Wally is a piece of work. He gets around. I was referring to metallic reloads. It's hard to blow up a shotgun, but a rifle is another situation.

I didn't see the primed 16 hulls. Maybe gone. 20 and .410 9000 still there when I left early afternoon. If I didn't have a 20 Grabber I might have thought about it. Say tanky, why wait for a progressive for 16 unless you're really turning the stuff out. I have a 16 Sizemaster (600 with resizer collet) and love it just for the extra moves, pulls, shuttles, etc. Also have a 12 Sizemaster but I like the 9000 for skeet fodder. I did buy six boxes of 20 ga. skeet loads. Don't tell Bill!
