I am in the process of converting two of my BSS Sporters (12 and 20)into two-barrel sets. I needed 28" barrels for the 20 and 30" barrels for the 12. In both cases, I wound up buying complete guns with stock issues just to harvest the barrels. It takes time to find the right guns for this process, and you may never find the right one at the right price. One guy on this board bought a 30" gun, swapped the barrels onto his Sporter and then sold the remaining PG FrankenBSS with his old 28" barrels; I think he got about $1K for that gun. The barrels from the silver-trigger (non-selective) guns will fit onto the gold-trigger (selective trigger) action, but require some professional fitting to work correctly. You may find barrels from another Miroku variant that will work on the BSS, but I have a Miroku 500 in 20 gauge and a Daly 500 in 12 gauge, and those barrels will not swap with their BSS counterparts. There is also the ejector/extractor problem to deal with if you try to use other Miroku barrels. I have never seen NOS barrels for a BSS, but I did find another set of 20 gauge barrels being parted out on another site. Good luck.
P.S.: All of the 30" guns were PG with the fat beavertail. Cabela's may still have one that has been bead blasted and reblued, with a refinished stock; I think it was $900 with 30" barrels that will need to be polished and blued again.
