An article in the current issue of Mopar Action magazine includes a photograph of a 12ga Winchester Model 21 and another photo of his initials in an oval. The gun is apparently owned by a great-grandson, and a third photo in the article shows WPC on the cover of a magazine or book titled "Chesapeake Bay Decoys, (the men who made and used them)".

Anybody ever heard of this or any other of his shotguns besides the famous 20ga?

Walter P. Chrysler was an occasional customer at Abercrombie & Fitch. I have noticed his name in the records a few times as I've been indexing the makes, models and serial numbers. I've done only one commissioned research on a firearm that turned out to have been purchased by Walter P. Crysler and that was a Sauer 20 gauge model 280E. Although the shotgun was purchased by Mr. Chrysler it was sent to a different individual, apparently as a gift.

If you have a specific W.P.C. firearm in mind and you know the serial number, I'll be happy to see if it went through A&F.
