Here are some pics of 2 of the 4 I recently got. I know virtually nothing about them, will try to describe. Any help on info, value, etc will be appreciated. I live in Greenville SC & will be at gunshow in Lawrenceville ( Atlanta area ) Sunday. If anyone wants to see them let me know !!
First one is marked G.L.Rasch, Hofbuchsenmacher on one side of receiver, Braunschweig on the other. Top of receiver has Gustav Kerstens Verschluss on it. There is a s/n, and some stampings also.
The barrel top is marked same as receiver sides. 3,59 GBP over st. m G on sides. Various proof marks & #'s underneath. Scope says A. Jackenkroll and is on bayonet mount. Gun is in great condition. Seems to have had very little use. Bone or horn trigger guard, gold set triggers.
Second one is beautiful also, it is a drilling, 16 gauge over ??.
Barrel marked Oswald Nerke Erfurt. Plusstahl Krupp Essen, Nitro, tons of proofmarks & #'s underneath. Beautifully engraved receiver, bone trigger guard, bullet trap, very pretty wood.
