Sorta got a Colt, hoping for an 1883. Wife Patty is pretty excited about it. Mare is a Missouri Fox Trotter and the sire is a spotted saddle horse. Born the night after the summer solstice. Thanks for your indulgence. jOe, I know, I'm breaking a golden rule !! Go let Buster out for a whiz.  Randy

How are they on the grill?
If it were 1885 right now, I'd be in deep trouble with the wife for burning lamp oil in the shed trying to invent a Jeep.

Very nice looking horses. There is still nothing like a well mannered horse to enjoy. But, I have been on some horses that have convinced me that they were the reasons for 6 shooters to have been invented and that is why cowboys carried them. LOL
I would love to have a good reason and place to maintain a horse though. I am afraid we would get pretty attached as I seem to do with all my animals. I seem to have a way of thinking of them as "people" after while. I must be a little sick.....

I have two myself, one a QH mare and an appendix filly.
