I bought this 8x Aspherical Docter Optics Scope from a local pawn shop.Supposedly it was brought back from Europe by a GI.The tube diameter is 26mm. I have not been able to identify the scope rings manufacture and thought someone might recognize them. The front ring has a conventional dovetail type mount but is not of standard US size. The rear ring utilizes a small dovetail type mount and is adjustable for windage. Thanks, Ken [img]http://  [/img] [img]http://  [/img]

Have you tried the German Gun Collectors' Association website? They probably have an expert in Euro scope mounts.

I too vote for EAW pivot mounts. Try Dieter Appel's place in New England-I think NH. NECGS??? Got parts for one there 7-8 years ago. 26mm = 1 inch roughly. Good Luck, Dr. Bill

1 inch = 25.4mm. 26mm = 1.024 inch. While close they are not interchangable.

It does not appear to be EAW, or ERA-Recknagel mount. It's DDR-made 'Swenkmongage'.  Now, the bad news.  The rings and mounts are ALWAYS sold as a unit, so there is no matching, luving, mating,....

I wish to help you: Ask here....... Question: Ktora firma produkuje montaz obrotowy ('Swenkmontage') do lunety bez szyny firmy Docter/Carl Zeiss Jena o siednicy 26mm? Z gory dziekuje.
