I will soon be the recipient of a new Ugartechea Grade II 12ga SXS from Lion Country Supply and I am considering having thin wall choke tubes installed.
First, is there any reason not to do this? The gun is coming with Full and Mod chokes (all they had left) so at a minimum I will want them opened up. I thought I might as well get the tubes so I have some flexibility.
Second, can anyone recommend a gunsmith to do this?
I have heard Mike Orlen in MA does good work. Does anyone have experience with his work?
Thanks for the advice.
(BTW, this isn't really my first post, although I am still a newbie here. For some reason my old login didn't get transfered to the new system.)
