Where would I get a keeper and fireing pin for a underlever, 10 gauge hammer double? It was manufactured in 1877 with the stub twist bbls. I believe it has a #2 frame? There is a "2" stamped on it. It does seem to have a smaller frame than many 10gauge guns I have seen. All of the serial numbers match. There are currently two different size keepers on the gun. The larger one seems to be tall enough for the hammer to hit and the fireing pin will strike a snap cap. The other one is smaller and the hammer does not seem to strike the keeper at all and the fireing pin is missing.

Kurt - some of the guys on the Parker website (PCGA) had some firing pins made recently, I believe. You might do a search over to find the thread and contact one of those fellows. I'm sure they can help you out.

Kurt someone just listed a bunch of Parker parts on Ebay under "gunsmith". Don't know what all is there, I wasn't interested. Good luck

The missing pin can be replaced by Lou Rotelli over on the PGCA site. A hammer that does not hit the plunger would make replacing the firing pin a useless endeavor.
