with a name like willoughby anything is possible. the other outfit is from georgia and there seems to be nothing affordable there. you can throw puglisi bank emporium in the same boat.
Concerning Puglisi, I made a recent purchase from them. Lindner Daly Featherweight. Asked some of the Daly experts about it; feeling seemed to be that the price was fair. Well, the ejectors tripped on opening the gun, and there was a tiny chip missing from the corner of the forend, where the iron and barrels meet. (It was small enough I almost missed it.) I knew about the ejector issue because a friend who'd looked at the gun recently noticed the problem.
Anyhow, the agreed price included fixing the ejectors. Jack said he'd have his guy take care of the little chip too. All on his dime, after we agreed on the price. So I asked him, when can I expect to see the gun? Maybe a month? (Given the nature of the doublegunsmithing business, I thought I was being way optimistic.) Oh no, says Jack. Much sooner than that. Tells me he has to send the gun off, get it back, then ship it down to my dealer in Iowa. I'm thinking yeah, right, quicker than a month.
I bought the gun on a Tuesday. Jack UPS'd it to his gunsmith the following day. I picked it up from my dealer in Iowa on a Monday--a day shy of two weeks after I bought it. Say what you want about prices (and he's now having a "stimulus sale", in case you haven't checked his list lately), but I thought that was absolutely outstanding service.
