Since I used to live in St Charles I suspect this event was held at Pheasant Run. Is this correct?

Next time you are in the area, I would like to take you to lunch. My office is in Elgin and my home is in Sycamore so I know where St. Charles is. Let me know alittle in advance and I will set up a sporting clay shoot for us in Elburn. That's where the ST Charles club went. Nice little place. Frank

Frank,

Thanks for the invite, I'll take you up on it next time I'm over that way. Never shot at that club before, always good to shoot somewhere new.

Italian,

The event for Dad was at Pheasant Run for sure, that's a really nice place. I hadn't been there since the last time I went to the decoy show about 7 years ago.

Frank I did spend three years living with my parents out in
ST.Charles Back in the late 70's. We lived just west of town off RT 64. I spent some time hunting farms in and around Sycamore back then. Last time I was back the area is nothing but one big housing development after another. Some of the farms I used to hunt are in the urban sprawl zone. Randall road was a two lane country road, its now just strip malls and big box stores. WOW what a change. I did spend lots of time shooting trap at Elburn. Small World sometimes. I hope the pheasant hunting is still good out your way.Paul

Looks like I spoke too soon, that goose pic of Davis and I wasn't the last shoot of the year hopefully.

The boys are up scouting around Niagara and have "found 'em" according to Jim. I'm off in the small hours for a long drive on the mighty 401 into the river regions of Ontario.

Morris just sent me a couple boxes of RST NiceShot 10 gauge shells in the new 1 3/8 ounce loading. I believe I'll take the hammer gun.....
