Hi Guys,
New guy here, a friend of mind inherited this 20 Ga Shotgun and I know just about nothing about Shotguns. It's marked Merkel on the barrels and on the bottom of the action marked Suhl, it's a 20 Ga with selective ejectors, double triggers, straight grip stock, gun is in about 98 % condition, inside and out and everything works as it should. He would like to know about when it was made, what Model it was called, and aprox value if possible. Hope the photo comes in ok.
Any help is appreciated.

147e....date code should be on the barrel flats...3 or 4 digit number like 1185...November 1985...in upper 90s condition...$2300-2600 but hard to say with the economy the way it is..
