According to the Dictionary of Guns and Gunmakers, Simson & Co. (Suhl) once made shotguns using the brand name "Astoria." Can anyone shed light on this?

I think the name was more in-line with baby carriages(prams), drivetrains and air rifles after the forced nationalization during the mid 1930s as BSW. A scattergun with the name may exist but I'm not aware of its existance just yet.

Kind Regards,

It's spelled 'Astora'. You would not want the to boys to think of world famous Waldorf Astoria of NYC.
