I picked up my RBL-28 at my local FFL today. Only place to shoot on Tuesday is a little trap club within five miles of my house, so it already has one round of 16 yard. With a gun this light it is too easy to come up thru the bird! As long as I could keep some light between the muzzle and the bird they broke nice. It is 30-inch modified and full with 4x English Walnut.

A real beauty Researcher. Shoot it in good health. I received mine about 2 months ago and am very pleased with it.

Certainly looks like it was worth the money and the wait. I envy you that gun.

Best,

Mike

Dave, Great looking gun. Any chance to get a closeup photo of the dog engraving. Appears to be a beautiful job. Local guy at the Gaylord club just picked up a like new 20 RBL on the secondary market. That makes two RBL's I've seen up close. Sure seems like a great buy on the lower $3000 price. Good shooting with the 28. What are the game plans for your gun? Randy

If you gotta have a 28, that's a good one to have, I reckon. Enjoy!

That is one wild piece of English. After handling the 30" 28s at the Vintagers, I guess I "need" one. Did you get the smooth working self opener?
