Just wondering who shoots and carries their ICD NID on a regular basis. I love mine and shoot practice skeet weekly and hunt with it on a regular basis.

28" 20 gauge IC/M

Me, Me, Me! I bought a NIB (so of course I paid too much), 471xxx 28 ga, 28" BT/PG/DT a couple of years ago for ruffed grouse and it's a great gun. I sent the bbls to Briley to have the chokes opened to Cyl/IC (chokes were not marked anywhere on the gun and were too tight for ruffies). The balance was a bit too far back, partly since it has a dense, highly figured buttstock, so I removed the buttplate and mined nearly 3 oz of wood out (that was scary!). Now it's 5 lbs, 12 oz and handles great. I think I'll take it to AZ this winter and see how I like it for Mearns Quail. Beautiful guns!

Joe: I thought we might hear from a few ICD owners. I guess they are all out in the woods and not at their computer.

I have some ICD Grade IV finished & checkered wood for sale if anyone's interested.

I have a buttstock w/plate and cap for a 28 and a splinter and BT forend for a 20.

This stuff has minor dings and scratches so they never ended up on a gun, nothing that can't be touched up.

email for pics and I'll take care of Dave.

I think the cylinder bored 28 gauge scared most posters off. I have a cylinder bore in the right barrel of my 28 gauge Parker, but the left barrel is full, as it should be. I do like the ICD, sold them for a couple of years, don't own one unfortunately. To answer your question, yes, I do love them. Steve L. is one of the heroes of the gun world.

Shame everything went tits on him as I believe he tried hard to make a go of it.Also hope everyone ended up with a gun or money back. The guns Steve rejected and another outfit took up and sold may have left some doubt in the market as to which guns are worth the money and which ones ain't.

What do you mean the cylinder bored 28 ga scared them off? For Mearn's quail and ruffed grouse, where many times you only get a 10-20 yard shot,or no shot at all, 90% of my shots are with that choke and often it is tighter than I would like. I also have a Garbi 28 ga choked cyl/IC and it is perfect out to 30 yards. I use 3/4 oz of hard #7 1/2 handloads and they pattern pretty tightly.
