I'm headed up to Seattle for a few days on business this week. Any new gunstores open in the last few yrs? DJ's is always on my list as are a couple others up in the Bellvue area.

Snarky comments aside Chuck, I'm not aware of any new shops in the area. I live in Tacoma.

I made it up to Kesselring's Wednesday after work. Quite a little gunshop in what seemed like the middle of nowhere. Lots of used guns of various makes including a good smattering of sxs's and o/u's. One sxs looked promising, a 32" 20g 4E NID. But upon closer examination the gun had be re-ribbed top and bottom. The upper rib had a roundpost vent rib and the lower was a poor job with whoop-de-doos, the straight stock was a restock with the original short tang straightened but not extended. 'didn't see anything I couldn't live without, but definitely a shop to keep on the list. The clerk was friendly and helpful.
DJ's had a 20g late Superlight Superposed that looked pretty nice but for a repaired crack the full length of the forend. A bit pricey for me at $4800 with that crack repain pretty prominent.
Wade's Eastside didn't have any sxs's worth looking closer than 10 ft at.
I stopped in at Filson's store in downtown Seattle this morning. Again, nothing I didn't find anything I needed. Nice store though.
David, I'm headed thru Utah and Nebraska to SoDak next month, so I passed on the Cabelas and Sportsman's Whse since I plan to stop in them on that trip.
