OP oscarlovel Sidelock Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 51 Louisiana	I had a chance this evening to look the Hammerless Aubrey over and the bores clean up excellent. Surprise is no pitting at all. Lockup is good with just a little slop. I imagine a slight shim may be in order. Need a replacement buttstock and a trigger guard and this old gal will be back in the field. Most of the casehardening is gone, but I'm seriously considering leaving the receiver in white. Might even just polish it out. I'll try and get pictures and post here soon. If anyone knows where I can secure a replacement stock or trigger guard, please let me know. Thanks.

Run With The Fox Sidelock Joined: May 2008 Posts: 8,158 Likes: 114 Michigan	Oscar- the other parts you wanted are en route to you- I have several double gun trigger guards- on is "split" right at the rear chamfered hole (for the set screw that goes into the stock at the grip) but if it will fit- I can TIG weld it for you and re-machine the hole- just need a foto or some specs. so's I'll know if that one, or the other one I have (unbroken) will work for you- RWTF "The field is the touchstone of the man"..

I guess I could try the American Gun Co. guard for fit? Would that tell you anything? BTW, don't suppose you have another firing pin seat for that American Gun Hammered. The one you sent is great, but I need another. Let me hear from you.
