Although I’ll admit I’m also biased towards doubles, this site just does not have the member clutter of so many other forum sites.

While I do like famous quotes, or seeing a member’s favorite hunting companion, gun or cartridge, after about the third time it’s like seeing the same commercial on television on every channel for several months straight. Some sites have become so cluttered with this that it becomes the largest portion of some member’s post on those sites. Add to that seeing repetitive political statements in both text and animation form, and I find myself now avoiding those sites routinely.

This site is like watching and enjoying the premium channels on cable, commercial free. I go here first always now, and most often simply stay here where it’s best.

I left for about three years only reading now and then but the draw was always there.Saw three friends pass without makeing a post but did contact the family for prayers and God Bless.A few months ago its was like a AA member falling off the wagon and I,m hooked again.Lots of knowledge out there and can tell some of the old guys still read and once in a while slide in a post.Tons of forums but stay here 99% of the time for gun stuff anyway

The board is valuable to those with an interest in shotguns, It has been good to me. Its weakness emerges when we veer into politics. A high standard of care, compassion and generosity becomes subordinated to rudeness. There is no excuse for it.
