Klunkermeister once told me to buy these when I came across them and last week at an estate sale here in town I finally was able to purchase one. According to Russ about 30% of the screws in one of these will fit LC Smith Shotguns. Anyone else ever tried and see if they fit? Link http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w75/Pinduck/DSC00034.jpg

I've heard that also, can't verify that but Russ would have known. Best thing, take some screws out and if you have the book by Brophy "Plans and Specifications" you could compare them to the book. If you don't have the book, post the sizes of the screws and I/someone will let you know.

You might want to check its value with the typewriter collector guys. It looks to be in pretty good shape. It may be worth a little Googling before pulling it apart. Just a thought.

I don't think I'd be taking any screws out of that typewriter.

You can also use the carriage assembly out of that typewriter to convert your SxS into a semi-automatic.
