Been all over the net and cannot find any load data for using American powders for this calibre.
Any help would be appreciated.

The "Hawk" article linked above makes a very common mistake that only makes much difference if you form cases from European cases, especially for the rimmed version. The 6.5x57 was not based on the 7x57( M93) case ( head diameter .473"). Rather it was based on the 8x57I (M88) case ( head diameter .468"). Most, if not all, American manufacturers use the M88 head size for the 7x57 ammo they make, for economy/ ease of manufacture sake( also some 6.5x55 Swede). Consequently, while American 7x57 cases will work( by relocating the shoulder as mentioned by Hawk), European cases may or maynot have to have the case head swaged, sized, turned, polished to a smaller diameter to chamber. This will be more common with the 6.5x57R, due to the lack of American cases. I know there are some rimmed cartridges marketed by American companies and if their cases are made here, they may work without issue. There may be a problem with shell holders, but most are not made to such tight tolerances.

Since you are located in Bavaria, I recommend buying the DEVA publication Wiederladen, which, among numerous other European calibers, contains a long list of loads for the 6.5X57R, some of which use American components, as well as imported powders readily available in the US, such as Norma and Vihtavouri.
