I just noticed recently on my Citori 16g that only the bottom firing pin is retracted by a spring. Is this normal or is the top one broken? The gun is new, I've only fired a few hundred shells through it.

If its the same as all the 12 gauge ones then yes this is perfectly normal.

No need for a spring on the top barrel. It won't drag.
