Posted By: bellasm Any Straight Stocked L.C. Smith's out there? - 03/27/20 09:06 PM
I have been looking for a straight gripped l.c. smith in either an ideal or specialty grade for a while and have not come up with anything. Other than placing an add in the classifieds, I have scoured all the dealers as well as gunsinternational, gunbroker and gunsamerica. Any suggestions, or might someone point me in the direction of one? Thanks in advance.
Gone but is this what you are looking for??

The one that was sold is what I am looking for. The others are either restocked or have a beaver tail fore-end. Ideally It am looking for a light weight 12 or a 16 or 20.
Will this gun be for you or a youth or a lady?

What chokes, barrel length, etc??

Mike
I will use it as an upland gun. Figure in the stock is pretty important as well.
Good plan, all I have is a straight gripped, two trigger Trap Grade Skeet gun

Not near as nice as my Specialty Grade pistol grip gun.

I am in serious need of a Hollenbeck 16 ga. drilling. I have everything I need to complete a rather nice drilling, I just need a solid 16 ga. Hollenbeck receiver. Anyone have one or know of someone that does?

I have got to get my act together. I thought I was starting a new thread...sorry bellasm, my apologies.

Bellasm, the straight grip LC Smith's are out there I have seen them more on the Pre 1913 grade's than on the later Ideal and Specialty grades. The important thing is to be patient and one will show up. They are a lot less common than the standard configuration.

Thanks guys, I know that they are tough to find. Thanks.
I donated a straight grip skeet special to the NSSA musium about 10 years ago. They are out there.
