Anyone received theirs yet? Been looking for mine for several weeks, but no DGJ. Bobby
Nuttin yet, Iv'e usually gotten them in the first week when they start showing up.
Dr Jim and I have an article in the Spring DGJ on the Smith Long Range Wild Fowl, with 82 yard pattern testing by David Williamson, and I have not yet received the usual preview issues.
But the USPS still sends mail down the Mogollon by mule train
I used to be able to get the DGJ from my local magazine rack at Hastings. No more DGJ on the news stands. So I called this past week (Thurs.) to subscribe. She asked me on the phone if I wanted to start with the spring volume. I would have thought you guys would have already gotten it by now. Oh well, I guess I'll wait too. As an aside, I did get both volumes of TPS so I can look up for myself the configration of these great shotguns.
Received mine today. Nice job Brother Drew and Dr. Jim S. on the Longrange Wildfowl article.
Arrived today in Northcentral Wisconsin with what feels like a thinner more flexible cover. Lots of eye candy including a feature article with oodles of mouth-watering photos of Ansley's DE.
Nothing in Maryland yet. I can't wait to read about the long range pattern testing.
Mine came today. I'm in SE PA.
Mine came today. 'Lotta names in gold in the front. Bummer.
Best,
Ted
Not here yet in Western PA, and I've been looking for it. Maybe Monday!
I always feel like mine comes much later than others but it arrived today. Busy day so I'm just now going to take a look.

Dan's now sending out preview issues, Drew? Must be something new. But then I haven't done anything for him for quite some time, although I have a piece in the works on the WWI French ace of aces and his Verney-Carron.
Larry: In the past, I've received a package of 5 a few days before general mailing. Checked with Dr Jim yesterday and he only received his one subscription DGJ.
Still nothing in the desert, but it's hard to be grouchy when you (for now) live in paradise
And a blessed Resurrection Day to you and your family.
I've always received pre-publication issues when I've had something in the magazine.
Guess that shows how long it's been since I've done anything for DGJ!
I am honored to be in the presence of so many humble literary giants.
Where's the absinth...

Good that you could get off the blow-up doll long enough to realize it....
Best,

Of course the sophisticated cohort I refer to includes the highly achieved and supremely eloquent "Teddy Bean."
He's probably related to Al Franken...

That would be better than being related to you.
Say, modern medicine may, perhaps, have a therapy for chronic self abuse. Why don't you look into it?
Best,

Mine came on Saturday (southeastern PA).
Mine came today, the first.Walt has a great article on Lefever Nitro number 4 trap guns. Schwing on DE Fox and Dr Drew great article on LC Smith long range guns. Bobby
Mine arrived today in Connecticut.
Doggone it, I'm starting to get the shakes! Where is it?
Obviously, the local postal employees have not finished reading mine. It didn't come again today.
DHS may have your copy, eightbore.
Mine arrived today in mid-Michigan....
Still nuthin' in the desert, and she ain't happy
Drew,
I think she's disappointed that her 'Smith, pictured in the article, is cracked behind the lockplate, and she has to use that single.
Who was that guy who always told us that he never owned an L C Smith that was cracked? Beaner?
Best,
Ted
She got the Smith glasbedded and got even on a few Gambels
DGJ hasn't made it thru the postal service in Delaware yet either!!
Jack K
Jack, all the Delaware copies are going to Joe Biden since he recommended doubles rather than "assault rifles".
Arrived here on the Washington/Idaho border in the 2 April mail. I can't believe they didn't get a color photocopy or .jpg of both sides of the production card for Ansley H. Fox #17090 for that article!!
Larry,
You're right, I should have seen that one. He probably has a Lefever Optimus that he had cut down just for Jill.
Jack K
They made it to my part of Jawja today !!!

Jack, I was on the Iowa governor's pheasant hunt with Tom Vilsack--now secretary of agriculture, previously governor of Iowa--and noticed he was toting a side by side. Aha, I thought. We do have something in common. When I got a bit closer, I saw that it was a Stevens. I think that's your standard Democrat's side by side!
A Stevens?
Why not?
It's ubiquitous, poorly executed, and a failed imitation of the real thing.
Perfect for a DemoNAZI.
Larry,
You may be right about the Stevens. At least my DGJ came in today. YEAH!! Now all I need is some time to read it.
Jack K
Arrived in the DC suburbs today. I've read it already. The benefits of retirement.
Mine arrived in TX today, one week after ordering it and 'The Parker Story' 2 vol. set. It will take me until the summer DGJ arrives to get through the TPS.
Came today in West Tennessee.
The mule train must have been bushwacked. My...postview...issues arrived last night by UPS. But they are here
Wonderful pics by Terry Allen as always, and enjoyed Bro. Walt's article.
Has anyone received their digital/iPad version yet?
