We made our first efforts to import shotguns from Europe in 1968. We wanted to satisfy our own desires to find a few nice English-style doubles which were less costly than a London gun. After seeing the guns in use, several of our friends and hunting companions asked us to order guns for them. As more of these guns were distributed, greater interest was generated and it became obvious that there was a substantial market for this type of gun.. 

In 1973, we began importing shotguns for resale on a regular basis. We opened our Westlake Village showroom in 1978. The Moore family moved to Arizona in 1994, where we opened the Scottsdale showroom.

Arrizabalaga

Pedro Arrizabalaga - is one of Spain 's best gun makers. They build a traditional Holland & Holland type sidelock easy-opening action with the look and feel of a fine English double. Pedro Arrizabalaga guns are manufactured in Eibar, in the heart of Basque gun making region in the north of Spain . William Larkin Moore & Co. has been importing the fine Arrizabalaga shotguns and has had excellent success with them.

Lebeau-Courally

Lebeau Courally - The gunmaker Auguste Lebeau Courally, traces its own heritage in the gunmaking center of Liege, Belgium, back to 1865. In the years since, they have built many guns for European royalty, including the Czar of Russia and the King of Spain. Lebeau-Courally has enjoyed the same following and praise on the continent of Europe that Purdey has had in the United Kingdom. Absolutely nothing is spared in the production of Lebeau-Courally guns. These guns are manufactured completely by hand using traditional methods to the highest standards.

A&S Famars

FAMARS -Remo Salvinelli is generally reckoned one of the two reigning geniuses of the Italian best-gun trade. His list of accomplishments and patents as gun designer at FAMARS during the past 34 years is astounding. It includes Boss-style O/Us with pin-less locks, self-cocking hammer guns, two versions of four-barreled shotguns, Dickson and Westley Richards look a likes, and a patented detachable-lock gun. He has also designed a best sidelock over/under for perhaps the world's most famous gunmaker.

Chapuis

Chapuis - Chapuis guns are entirely crafted in our manufacturing facility in Saint-Bonnet-le-Château, a picturesque old town just outside of Saint-Etienne, France. Every parts is machined on state-of-the-art CNC equipment under very strict tolerances before hand-finishing, fitting and assembly by our Master Gunsmiths.

In addition to handling custom orders we try to maintain a substantial inventory of new and used guns by our core group of makers, as well as a selection of fine pre-owned doubles and other guns of all makes.
