I use a 1997 Dodge Caravan, with front wheel drive it's great in the snow (except for ground clearance) I can take out one or both rear seats and have room for my dog and whatever else I want to carry. My Caravan just turned 283,000 miles on the original engine, still doesn't use oil, and still gives me 25 mpg highway and 20 around town.
