I would add a question as to why you need to to remove the pin, as they are not usually considered removable. They generally are taper pins, the seat of which is cut with a taper pin reamer, check out the characteristics of a taper pin on line, They all generally do have a cross pin that also retains it, sometimes well hidden, which would have to be removed first. If not removed you risk ruining the action. I would suggest following MC's advise.
