Well, maybe not unusual to those who see a lot of custom Mausers. Recently bought this Mauser presented as 7mm Mauser. with post war Nickel scope. I was fascinated by the pop up tang mounted peep sight and the secondary trigger block safety, I have seen both in the past, but this is the first I have seen with both. Then when I took it down to clean found it to be a 7x64. I hope you all find this interesting. I also posted this at the German Gun Collectors.
