Firstly, I just refinished a "not-so-old" Sarasqueta, and it turned out just Ok. But, before I finished it, I was browsing the aisles at ye olde hardware store and found this Minwax product.
My question is, does anyone have experience with this stuff? The instructions on the can say it is s'posed to penetrate and seal the end-grain, but it did not. About all it did, was put a shiny, gloss finish on the inletting. (Not very thick, it went back together easily).
Personally, I have a low regard for Minwax products in general, but this stuff just looked like a good thing. Then again, maybe I'm just behind the curve, and ya'll already have opinions, good or bad, about it ?
