I am trying to put a value on a Maloch & Mitchie 20 ga. hammer gun. Any inputs would be appreciated. The following is a description of the item. I have several pictures but I see no simple way to add them here based on the constraints of this web site.

The gun is a breech loading sxs 20 gauge, serial #945, made by Maloch & Michie. The name is engraved on the sides among the scroll pattern. There is a stamped reference to an 1871 patent. The weight is about 5 3/4 pounds. It has 29" barrels bored skeet and full. It is likely that the butt plate is wood and the wood splinter stock are each original.  The main stock is probably redone. It is bored for 2 1/2 " shells and while you cannot see the telltales of Damascus barrels, it has Birmingham proof marks providing a 'definitive black powder proof for shotguns'. The barrels are stamped 'not for ball'. Also stamped is '18 B 21 M' on the top of the barrel. The bores are like new.
