Sedgley used '03 floorplates plus they modified 1917 floorplates and used them. It took a lot of work to do the modification and you would have thought it would have been easier to get '03s but labor must have not been a worry back then. They had to shorten the plate and then add a lug. It is easy to see which plate was used by the width of the rear tab with the hole to release the FP which will show in the photos. There seems to be no pattern of when they used one or the other type.
I will have to try to find some photos I made back when Michael and I discussed this. If I can't I will take some new ones and have Fred post them for me.
