Well, there is so, so much clutter of my musing, & other good info mind you, on the Lindner - Daly threads that I had the idea of making a single thread for each set of initials. Come one, come all. If you are the custodian of a Lindner - Daly, Golcher/Kuhn/Josef Jakob(U.S. of A. James Purdey), etc. which wears the tubeset knitter initials of JW(probably a Wolf mechanic?) please post any info and with that which Lindner Quality Control stamp it wears(either Crown over Crossed Sidearms or HAL over Crossed Sidearms) along with Country of Origin Stamp, if any. And any images would be just lovely. Seems that JW might have contributed the bulk of the tube effort in the transition period?

J.W. initials on Lindner - Daly(Crown over Crossed Sidearms & HAL over Crossed Sidearms) seemingly active in the 1890s -

1st Lindner - Daly series(Probably all Crown over Crossed Sidearms) - Nr. 3646, 3994

2nd Lindner - Daly series(Probably all HAL over Crossed Sidearms) - Nr. 264, 439, 604?, 676, 766, 792, 933

Many thanks for any contribution or effort.

Cheers,

Raimey
