I really love this book and I hope, my wife will present me the other two... ;-)
Here a time was described which has finally passed. I remember myself the last breathes some 45 years ago and it's a great pleasure to get more and deeper informations about those time of happy and plenty hunting.

By the way, I also like your "Asterix-cynicism", because I'm not free of it myself.. :-))
