Hi Val, I can't disagree concerning the end og th PG as that seems unusual but then Grade B checkering on a non engraved seems unusual to me. As I do not know how to post pics here anymore I just sent you a couple emails containing pictures that may interest you. BTW the picture of the magazine cover of 3 rifles the one in the middle is most likely the rarest 99 ever made. Do you know why? Two my knowledge there are only 2 99's like it. One Savage built and the other one I made. I'll see if I still have any pics of the one I did.
