My CZ circa 1950 7 X 57 sporter is the one Jack O'Connor praised as the best saddle rifle although he noted the barrel might have been light and whippy. In 1950 it cost $CAN135. It's a smooth, accurate rifle, the only one I'll never sell. The fit and finish is incomparable to current CZ. Why do things have to go downhill?
