These are photos of the new S-man talked about in the recent thread. The checkering pattern shows some differences from the normal in that he uses the tear drop from the later front of the PG in his side patterns. I have not seen that before.
The cut in the wood and the left side of the receiver must have been for the rear of a German claw mount system as the big dovetail on the top of the receiver is common on these.
Kind of a neat ramp added to the front sight is also new to me for an S-man.
I will be cleaning the glass bedding out at the front of the receiver so I can reassemble the rifle.
