And you are correct when you suggest that inherent weakness can be overcome through some type of collective action. There is power in numbers. Witness the Tea Party. Witness the NRA.

However, that distinction didn't seem to exist in the series of posts I was referring to. You appeared to be making a blanket statement about how things work, then completely contradicting yourself with your own experience in a subsequent post, unless as an individual you are much wealthier and more powerful than you have let on.
